The Modern Warrior’s Brand
Hayabusa is a bit of an enigma…
On the surface, they seem like just another premium gear company, but dig a little deeper and you’ll find a brand that’s genuinely committed to evolving the fight gear industry. Whether it’s through cutting-edge technology, high-profile collaborations, or pushing design boundaries, Hayabusa feels like a brand built for modern fighters and enthusiasts – not just casual gym junkies.
What Fight Gear Does Hayabusa Offer?
Hayabusa has products for all levels of enthusiasts and fighters alike, and for both adults and kids alike. Their fight gear catalogue includes:
Boxing Gloves
Although there are only 5ish models available, their features are absolutely legit and some of their collaborations are out of this world!
Punching Bags
Heavy bags, cobra bags, double end bags and more!
Coaching Equipment
Essential for sharpening kicks, knees, and striking power.
Fight Wear
Rash guards, shorts, compression gear, and gis – all designed with functionality and style in mind.
Accessories & Protection
Mouthguards, hand wraps, shin guards, and more to keep you protected during your training.
And even more!
From casuals to those chasing championship dreams, Hayabusa offers a complete catalogue to support every aspect of combat sports training.
Where Are Hayabusa’s Products Made?
This was a bit of a surprise to me—I assumed that Hayabusa was primarily manufacturing their gear in China, but unbeknownst to me, they also have many of their products made in Vietnam, which I find really interesting. I have actually never used or tested a piece of fight gear before from Vietnam, but I will absolutely say that the quality I’ve felt so far is definitely on the same level as China, Thailand, or Pakistan for sure.
It’s always refreshing to see more countries throw their hat into the fight gear manufacturing ring and I’m all for it… (As long as the craftsmen are being fairly compensated!)
Why Should You Keep an Eye on Hayabusa?
Hayabusa is a modern brand that is certainly going to be here for a long time. Here are a few specific reasons why you need to keep your eye on their future catalogue:
Boundary Pushers
Hayabusa have been pushing the boundaries for a long time—and in ways we should actually expect! The T3 boxing gloves addressed wrist issues that 95% of boxing gloves out there cannot compete with. They’ve even created a glove made of 3D-printed materials, which looks to have been met with a mixed reaction… but with that being said, you cannot blame Hayabusa for consistently trying to elevate the fight gear industry.
One-Stop Discipline Shop
Hayabusa have products for all major disciplines. Boxing, Muay Thai, MMA, and even BJJ—they have almost every item you could ask for to get your combat sports journey started.
Incredible Collaborations
I’m a sucker for fight gear brands collaborating with awesome brand names, and Hayabusa have outdone themselves, particularly with their T3 boxing gloves range. They’ve collaborated with Marvel and Star Wars, and even Floyd Mayweather.
Should You Avoid This Brand?
The only people who I think may dislike using Hayabusa are those who have a real loyalty to traditional, vintage, custom-made type boxing glove companies.
If you’re a Winning, Grant, 1v1, or Cleto Reyes lover, you may be on the anti-Hayabusa train… but I urge you to reconsider, especially from a feedback point of view.
Hayabusa, in my opinion, really do try their best to understand the issues with existing fight gear products and bring them into the modern era, which I really appreciate.
If you love a brand that looks to the future, collaborates with other amazing brands, and takes its product quality seriously, you should not hesitate to give this brand a go.
The moment I saw GSP use their gear many moons ago, I was already sold… and they’ve come a LONG way since then too.
Final Thoughts: Is Hayabusa Worth The Investment?
If you’re searching for a brand that caters to the popular combat sports, delivers products of premium quality, and has pieces you simply won’t find anywhere else—you should give Hayabusa a try.
While certainly not the most budget-friendly brand around, they’re renowned for a reason, and I definitely align with their values and direction of the industry.
